Guilin Seven Star Park is situated on the east bank of Li River, 1.5 kilometers away from the downtown of Guilin. Covering an area of 1.347 square kilometers, it is the largest comprehensive park in Guilin.

Seven Star Park got its name from the Seven Star Mountain inside it whose seven peaks bear a stunning resemblance to the Big Dipper in the sky. The park combines natural scenery with human landscapes, and it also includes a zoo. It gathers mountains, waters, caves, stones, pavilions, architecture and historical relics together, all of which make the Seven Star Park a masterpiece of parks in Guilin. The best visit time of this park is from April to October.

What to See/Do: Seven Star Mountain: The Seven Star Mountain has seven mountain peaks looking like the Big Dipper. This mountain is famous for its numerous rocks and peculiar caves including a Seven Star Cave. There is also a stone forest, a bonsai garden and over 500 stone inscriptions produced during Sui and Tang Dynasties.
Flower Bridge (Huaqiao): Originally built in the Song Dynasty, the Flower Bridge is the oldest bridge in Guilin. It is located near the frontgate of the Park and is totally 135 meters long. During spring and autumn, the two sides of the bridge are filled with blooming peach blossom and green bamboos, hence its name “Flower Bridge”.
Guihai Forest of Stone Tablets: There are over 220 pieces of stone inscriptions here; the inscriptions cover the contents of economy, military, culture, folk custom and so on. The stone inscriptions are presented to tourists in the forms of poem, essay, song, couplet, picture and more. The writings on the stones are various, such as regular script, cursive script, clerical script, and seal character etc.

From November to March: 06:30 – 19:00.
Public transport: Take bus No. 9, 10, 11, 14, 18, 21, 24, 25, 28, 30, 52, 97 or 204, and get off at Qixing Gongyuan.
