Day 1: Arrival in Shanghai

Your will arrive in Shanghai today. Our local professional guide and experienced driver will greet you at the airport outside the baggage claim area, and then transfer you to check in at the well-selected hotel/apartment. The rest of the time is for you to recover from the jet lag. 

Day 2: Customized Shanghai City Tour

Your guide and driver will meet you at your hotel/apartment at 9:00AM. You will be accompanied to start the Shanghai city tour. You will stroll down the Bund and Nanjing Road, visit theYuyuan Garden, get to know the locals by visiting the Tianzifang Street and Old French Concession area, enjoy a bird’s eye view from the Oriental Pearl TV Tower. In the evening, take a Huangpu River Cruise to appreciate the stunning night scene.

Day 3:Shanghai-Suzhou

After breakfast, your private guide and driver will escort you to Suzhou. Today, you will visit the Master of the Nets Garden, which is the smallest yet the finest of all Suzhou gardens. Take a rickshaw ride to discover the old city area of Suzhou, where the streets, lanes, canals, and dwellings are kept as they were decades ago. You will also visit the flower and bird market, and food market to get a glimpse and taste of local people’s life. Your tour guide will recommend some time-honored restaurants for you to taste the typical Suzhou-style dishes. In the afternoon, visit the Tongli Water Town, one of the top 4 water towns in China, where traditional local houses, small bridges, boats, and rivers, all come together to present a photographers’ wonderland.

Day 4:Suzhou-Hangzhou

After breakfast, you will be accompanied to take the high speed train to Hangzhou. The journey takes about 2 hours.
Upon arrival, you’ll first visit Linyin Temple, Hangzhou’s oldest temple, constructed about 1,600 years ago. It is a traditional temple, with Chinese architectural features and Buddhist culture. Surrounded by graceful landscapes, you can opt to enjoy an exploration of the Peak Flown from Afar. You will have your lunch at a traditional Chinese restaurant (Zhangshengji Restaurant) offering typical Hangzhou-style dishes. After lunch, you’ll enjoy a leisure boating time on West Lake. Long considered one of the scenic wonders of China, West Lake is situated at the heart of Hangzhou. It is worth a visit to see one of the Ten Best Views of West Lake — Three Pools Reflecting the Moon.

Day 5: Hangzhou- Shanghai

In the morning, your guide and driver will take you to train station to take the high speed train back to Shanghai and you will be escorted to hotel by the guide and driver in Shanghai. They will leave you from here and you are free to explore the city or have some rest.

Day 6:Departure from Shanghai

Your guide and driver will meet you at your hotel/apartment. Then you will be accompanied to take the Maglev train at Longyang Road Station, to the airport. Your memorable China trip ends here.
